Mechanical Engineer Building Services Thomas Search are partnered with a leading, forward-thinking Muli disciplinary consultancy to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer into their expanding South-West Building Consultancy team This is an opportunity for a Mechanical Building Services Engineer who wants to take the next step in their career, working a wide portfolio of projects. You''ll be joining an established MEP design team delivering work across a wide and balanced project portfolio, spanning residential, regeneration, healthcare, education, and commercial sectors. The role is design-led, client-facing. Working within a multi-disciplinary environment, you''ll work on mechanical design packages and contribute to the successful delivery of projects from early concept through detailed design and construction support. The role will involve: Working as part of a design team Liaise with other teams in the business Ensure Design standards comply with HandS and legislation Advise clients and design teams on energy use, Carbon reduction and sustainability Using industry-standard tools such as CAD, and Revit Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams Attending technical meetings What we''re looking for: Background in mechanical building services design Experience from a consultancy or technically focused contractor environment Degree qualified (or equivalent: ..... full job details .....
