Mechanical Shift Engineer Holborn, LondonWe''re recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider of facilities management services, for an experienced Mechanical Shift Engineer to join their team on a prestigious commercial site based at Holborn Bars, London.This Mechanical Shift Engineer role works a 4 on / 4 off, days-only shift pattern, and offers a salary of up to £47,000 per annum with no call out required.About the Role:As Mechanical Shift Engineer, you''ll be part of a small, close-knit team structure two teams of two, each pairing an electrical and a mechanical engineer, with five engineers on site per shift. You''ll take a lead role in maintaining mechanical plant and systems, while working closely alongside your electrical counterpart to ensure full coverage across the building.Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Shift Engineer role include:Delivering planned preventative maintenance across mechanical plant, HVAC, and cooling/heating systemsDiagnosing and correcting faults directly this is a hands-on role and works are not sub-contracted outMonitoring Building Management Systems (BMS) for running and alarm conditionsConducting building walk-rounds, meter readings, and fault investigationsProducing accurate, timely reports and maintaining compliance recordsBuilding strong, professional relationships with the client and on-site representatives this is a highly client-facing role, and the successful Mechanical Shift Engineer will be expected to attend regular ..... full job details .....
