Your role will be vital in ensuring safe, compliant operations in a secure establishment.The Role As the Mechanical Engineer, you ll: • Carry out routine mechanical engineering work, planned preventative maintenance, repairs, and testing of gas systems.• Diagnose faults and complete defect rectification on plant and equipment across the site.• Install new mechanical plant and equipment in line with specifications and standards.• Ensure maintenance schedules and compliance records are kept up to date.• Support a multi-skilled facilities management team, including escorting contractors when required.You To be successful in the role of Mechanical Engineer, you ll bring: • A recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent trade-based qualification.• Gas Safe registration with experience in both commercial and domestic systems desirable.• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, customer-focused approach.• A flexible, proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.What''s in it for you?
