They have recently been acquired by a global business, who operate across Europe, Asia and UK.Turning over around £54million across the UK, they have been going since 1947 and have 10 sites within the group. Processing between tonnes per month, they are top 3 in the UK from a volume from a single site and are gaining more work. About the role As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be working on heavy industrial environment looking at improving the efficiency of the machine and joining at a time where you can take ownership of your role within the business.Responsibilities will include: Ensuring the smooth running of the factory, by performing reactive and planned maintenance work.Working with bearings, gearboxes, conveyor systems, pneumatics and hydraulicsWorking with heavy industrial machinery and coming up with resolutions to mechanical issues.Fault-finding mechanically, as well as being comfortable with LOTO procedures and safe isolation electrically.
