Job Title: Mechanical EngineerContract Type: 3-Month Contract (FTC or Inside IR35)Rate: Market RatesLocation: Full time on-site - WorcestershireIndustry: High-Tech Manufacturing / Advanced CommunicationsOverview:A global leader in advanced communications technology requires a Mechanical Engineer for a 3-month contract to drive a key project from detailed design into prototype build, testing, and evaluation.Key Responsibilities:Finalize mechanical designs, engineering drawings, BOMs, and data packs.Provide hands-on support during prototype assembly, troubleshooting, and part modifications.Write test plans/schedules and support thermal, vibration, and environmental qualification activities.Process engineering changes and maintain CAD/PDM documentation.Requirements:Proven experience writing test schedules and supporting prototype integration/builds.Strong skills in engineering drawings, BOM management, PDM systems, and change control.Hands-on workshop/assembly capability and solid DfM/DfA understanding.Industry background in aerospace, defence, RF, satellite, or electronics is highly desirable.Must be eligible for UK BPSS security clearance (no VISA sponsorship available).To Apply:Submit your CV for immediate consideration. ..... full job details .....
