Specializing in bespoke automation, robotics integration, and special purpose machinery, this company is seeking a Mechanical Design Manager to help bolster an already established mechanical design team and drive continuous improvement across the department Mechanical Design Manager Responsibilities Hands on designing special purpose machinery and working across a variety of industry sectors.Lead and support the Mechanical Design team, providing clear direction, effective day-to-day management and creating a collaborative and productive working environmentEnsure Mechanical Design activities are delivered to the required quality and within agreed project timescales, working with the team and wider business to identify and resolve potential challenges.Support the ongoing professional and technical development of the team, identifying training needs, skills gaps and opportunities for individuals to develop within their roles.
