This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the design and supporting programmes from initial concept through to full-scale production across telecoms, aerospace, defence and space sectors. The Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will provide end-to-end engineering support across, modules and amplifiers. The role demands a strong focus on mechanical integrity, thermal performance, reliability and manufacturability within high-specification environments. You will play a key role in delivering robust, lightweight and thermally efficient designs suitable for demanding industrial and high-reliability applications. Key Responsibilities Mechanical Design and Development Design precision components and assemblies including enclosures, heatsinks, liquid-cooled systems and waveguide structures Develop modular architectures for integration into larger system-level assemblies Ensure compliance with RF, thermal, environmental and mechanical performance requirements Produce detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings (SolidWorks) Define materials, finishes and manufacturing processes aligned to performance and cost targets Analysis and Validation Undertake thermal analysis including CFD to validate cooling strategies Perform structural and dynamic analysis ..... full job details .....
