Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: Hybrid | Permanent | Up to £60,000 DOEVIQU are partnering with a leading UK vehicle manufacturer to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced design engineer to work on innovative commercial vehicle projects, supporting the design and development of mechanical systems from concept through to production.You''ll be responsible for delivering robust mechanical designs, producing detailed CAD models and engineering documentation, and working closely with manufacturing, quality and wider engineering teams to develop reliable, production-ready solutions.Key Responsibilities: Design mechanical components, assemblies and vehicle systems from concept through to production.Produce 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs and engineering documentation.Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver production-ready designs.Support design reviews, engineering change activities, testing and validation.Investigate technical issues, carry out root cause analysis and implement engineering improvements.Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the product development life cycle. Key Requirements: Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within a manufacturing or engineering environment.Strong 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Siemens NX or similar).Experience producing manufacturing drawings, ..... full job details .....
