Candidates will only be considered if they have hands-on experience designing chassis structures or components that directly attach to a chassis (eg subframes, mounting systems, brackets, structural fabrications). Purely small-component or non-structural mechanical design experience will not be suitable.What you''ll be doing: Designing and developing chassis systems and structural components from concept through to production release Producing 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings to BS8888 standards (Solid Edge preferred) Designing fabricated structures including weldments, sheet metal assemblies, brackets and mounting systems Supporting DVPandamp;R, validation, and production introduction Investigating build or field issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing practical engineering fixes Working closely ..... full job details .....
