This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of mechanical design projects, drive innovation in HVAC systems, and work closely with senior engineering leadership.The Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you''ll design and develop HVAC systems for various building types, ensuring they are energy-efficient, sustainable, and compliant with relevant codes and standards. Key responsibilities include: Designing HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, and equipment layout.Performing heating and cooling load calculations using industry-standard software.Selecting HVAC equipment and preparing technical specifications.Developing detailed design drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar tools.Ensuring compliance with building codes and energy regulations.Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project life cycle.Conducting site visits for inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting.Preparing cost estimates and supporting procurement processes.Integrating sustainable and energy-efficient design practices.
