The role will involve a mixture of site surveying, mechanical design and 3D CAD , supporting factory layouts, pipework and machinery projects. Key responsibilities: Survey existing and new pipework runs and produce relevant documentation. Survey and design machine guarding , ensuring designs are practical and compliant with relevant engineering standards. Produce 3D models for new factory layouts and skids. Produce 2D plan drawings of factory layouts. Prepare supporting technical documentation . Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver practical design solutions. Ideal background: Mechanical Design Engineering experience. Strong 3D CAD experience. Experience with pipework, machine guarding, factory layouts or skids would be advantageous.
