Mechanical Design Engineer

A leading technology organisation is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support a high-profile engineering programme based in Edinburgh.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on advanced engineering projects within a highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of complex mechanical systems, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within complex engineering environments
• Strong background in mechanical design, development, and documentation
• Experience using industry-standard CAD tools
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Active SC Clearance is essential

• Location: Edinburgh
• Contract Type: Outside IR35
• Working Pattern: 3-4 days per week onsite
• Rate: Negotiable depending on experience and suitability

Due to the nature of the project, candidates must already hold active SC clearance.
