The business has continued to grow and recently moved into new premises, creating a need for additional engineering resource within the team.This is an RandD-focused position where you''ll work on the design, development and improvement of specialist engineered products. There is scope to recruit anywhere from Mechanical Design Engineer through to Senior Design Engineer level, with the responsibilities shaped around the successful candidate.The roleDesign and development of mechanical products and componentsProduce detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using Autodesk InventorWork on new product development and existing product improvementsTake designs from initial concept through development and into manufactureLiaise closely with colleagues across engineering, manufacturing and the wider businessSupport problem solving, design reviews and continuous improvementProvide technical guidance and mentoring to developing engineers where appropriatePlay an active role within a small, collaborative Design and RandD teamWhat we''re looking forMinimum 2 years'' mechanical design experience ..... full job details .....
