Created detailed designs and specifications for mechanical systems using CAD software for nuclear applications.Develop and test prototypes to validate designs, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety standards.Conduct technical research to inform design and engineering methods, focusing on nuclear-specific requirements.Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring adherence to nuclear industry regulations.Liaise with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence and quality, particularly in the context of nuclear safety.Prepare technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals, ensuring compliance with nuclear regulatory standards.Perform computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine designs, focusing on nuclear-specific scenarios.Stay abreast of advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices within the nuclear industry.Qualifications and experience

Bachelor\''s degree in mechanical engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within the nuclear industry.Proficient with CAD softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional time management and organisational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFamiliar with Nuclear industry standards and regulationsExperience with FEASecurity clearance
