      <description>Location: Daventry | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | An industry-leading UK manufacturer of specialist motorsport and high-performance automotive solutions is seeking a talented Design Engineer to join their fast-paced engineering team in Daventry. Working directly with Automotive OEMs and top-tier Motorsport teams, you will turn complex technical requirements into high-precision, compliant component designs. You will collaborate closely with on-site production and skilled fabrication teams to support projects from concept through to build. Key Responsibilities  Develop 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings for bespoke automotive and motorsport applications. Ensure all designs comply with strict industry, safety, and governing body standards (e.g., FIA/MSA). Interface with CMM systems to support dimensional accuracy and quality control. Work cross-functionally with production, workshop fabricators, and external clients to troubleshoot builds and drive continuous improvement.
