Due to continued growth, they are looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Design Office.This is a varied, hands-on role combining mechanical design, product development, prototyping, testing and project management, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of projects and see your designs progress from concept into manufacture.The RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical and electro-mechanical products whilst working across multiple product development, RandD, continuous improvement and customer-led projects.Your responsibilities will include:Designing and developing mechanical and electro-mechanical products from concept through to production.Producing detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation.Using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault to develop and manage designs.Carrying out engineering calculations, tolerance analysis and FEA to support design decisions.Creating and maintaining BOMs, specifications and technical documentation.Supporting concept generation, design reviews and technical evaluations.Planning ..... full job details .....
