      <description>Location: Sittingbourne | Salary: &amp;pound;30000 - &amp;pound;60000/annum | Type: Permanent | Our established manufacturing client is seeking a  Mechanical Design Engineer   Location: Sittingbourne, Kent  Salary: £30,000 - £60,000 pa depending on experience  Hours: 39 hour working week  Benefits: 31 days holiday per year, workplace pension and sickness scheme  The role is to produce design and detailed drawings of the parts and assemblies that make up the machinery.   Mechanical Design Engineer  Skills and experience required:  	 Experience in designing automated equipment and engineering components 	 Experience within an engineering manufacturing environment with a good understanding of materials and assembly tolerances 	 Experienced and proficient in using 3D Design software, ideally Solidworks 	 Ability to create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings 	 Be able to communicate appropriately with suppliers and customers 	 Proficient in Microsoft software packages including Outlook, Word and Excel 	 Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, motors and actuators &lt;/ul</description>
