Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer Due to sustained growth, a significant forward order workload and a continued commitment to be at the forefront of the industry, our client is now searching for a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of innovative, creative and winning design packages in line with client key drivers, and project programs and budgets. This Mechanical Design Engineer role is based out of our client''s North Derbysbire office and includes working from home for one day a week. The working week is 37.5 hours. The Role To design a wide range of bespoke products ensuring compliance with client specifications, legislative requirements, quality and HSE standards. To work independently or as part of a team to develop new or existing products that meet the mechanical technical requirements of form, fit and function. To provide a professional mechanical engineering design service to the business and so interface with customers and suppliers to ensure activities are completed to meet or improve program, cost and quality expectations. Work with the wider team to help develop customer requirements and understand their potential implications to the business Develop concept solutions and support discussions to compare and contract different options Seek input from manufacturing department, supply chain contacts and project team Further develop selected concepts in sufficient ..... full job details .....
