Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking to lead the development of innovative offshore and subsea equipment from concept through to manufacture and testing? We are working with a leading engineering technology company delivering advanced mechanical solutions to the global energy sector. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Aberdeen team and play a key role in the design and delivery of bespoke mechanical systems used in challenging offshore environments. The Opportunity This is a hands-on technical leadership position where you will be responsible for the design, analysis, verification and qualification of complex mechanical equipment, including pressure-containing components, structural assemblies, subsea systems and associated tooling. You will work across the full engineering lifecycle, collaborating closely with project, manufacturing, testing and quality teams to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective solutions are delivered to clients worldwide. Key Responsibilities Lead the conceptual and detailed design of mechanical equipment and engineered systems. Produce 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials. Perform engineering calculations relating to pressure, structural integrity, fatigue and load-bearing applications.
