Mechanical Design Engineer Salary, Hours and Benefits 38,000 - 44,000 37 hours per week, with some flexitime and an earlier finish on Friday Paid overtime The Role An exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established and growing engineering business, working within a busy design office on a range of bespoke and standard equipment. You''ll provide practical design solutions to technical challenges, produce detailed drawings for manufacture and work closely with colleagues across Design, Production and other departments. Candidate Requirements Mechanical Design Engineer experience Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D CAD modelling software (Solidworks or Inventor) Experience producing accurate, detailed engineering drawings Experience designing bespoke equipment Understanding of EN standards, CE marking and relevant regulations Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills Able to work effectively as part of a team and to deadlines What You Will Be Doing The Mechanical Design Engineer will be designing and detailing bespoke and standard equipment Producing ..... full job details .....
