      <description>Location: Bedfordshire | Salary: &amp;pound;45000 - &amp;pound;55000/annum | Type: Permanent | Mechanical Design Engineer    -45K55K per annum    Bedfordshire area      We are seeking a skilled  Mechanical Design Engineer  to join our client''s team in  Bedfordshire . This is an exciting opportunity to work on the  design and development of machinery , creating innovative solutions that meet customer requirements.   Key Responsibilities:    Develop mechanical designs using  SolidWorks  and create sales layout drawings in  SolidWorks or AutoCAD .  Produce  mechanical bills of materials (BOMs)  and detailed 2D drawings for parts, assemblies, and fabrication.  Design machinery in line with customer specifications, including  pneumatic schematics .  Collaborate with cross-functional design teams to ensure optimal mechanical solutions.  Identify potential product improvements and support their implementation.  Create  machine manuals and technical documentation , and provide shop floor support during construction.
