The role is heavily mechanically biased but there is a requirement to integrate electrical and electronic componentry in to mechanical designs. In addition, the role-involves creating innovative and cost-effective design solutions that meet customer requirements, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing capabilities. Your day to day: Design mechanical components, products and systems from concept through to manufacture. Work with 3rd party electrical/electronic designer to progress designs and integration. Integrate electrical and electronic components in to mechanical designs as specified by the 3rd party electrical/electronic designer. Produce CAD modules and engineering drawings.
