This is a varied role involving the design, development, and delivery of bespoke materials handling systems, taking projects from concept through to installation and commissioning. Key Responsibilities The Mechanical Design Engineer will manage engineering aspects of projects from initial design concept through to overseeing manufacture and installation Produce 2D and 3D general arrangement drawings and system layouts using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The Mechanical Design Engineer will design and develop engineering solutions including conveyors, structures, access platforms, walkways, chutes, and associated equipment. Create detailed manufacturing drawings, models, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Work closely with customers, suppliers, project managers, sales teams, and manufacturing departments to deliver successful projects.
