Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Crawley, West Sussex Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + Benefits Sector: Building Services / MEP Design Consultancy Employment Type: Permanent The Opportunity We are working with an established MEP design consultancy based in Crawley who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing design team. The consultancy works across a range of residential and commercial developments, providing complete building services design solutions from initial concept through to detailed design and construction. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys being involved in projects from the early design stages and wants to take ownership of delivering technically sound, coordinated mechanical designs. The Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing full mechanical building services designsacross a variety of residential and commercial projects. Your responsibilities will include: Producing mechanical designs from concept through to detailed design and construction stages. Developing mechanical layouts, schematics and technical drawings. Carrying out heating and cooling load calculations. Designing HVAC systems, including ventilation, heating and cooling. Designing domestic water services, including hot and cold water systems.
