      <description>Location: Swansea | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Our client, an innovative leader in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a Structures and Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team close to Swansea South Wales. This permanent position offers an office-based working pattern with flexibility for hybrid and remote arrangements by agreement.   Role Overview    You will support aircraft-level design activities within a Part 21 Design Organisation, with a primary responsibility for aircraft structural design and independent technical checking. The role includes progressing to Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) status.   Key Responsibilities:    Act as a design owner for aircraft structural solutions, taking accountability from initial concept through detailed design, substantiation, and delivery.  Produce aircraft-level structural design solutions and subsequent reports.
