Mechanical Design Engineer (Manufacturing Equipment) 40,000 - 45,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Training + Benefits DissAre you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in sheet metal, stainless steel or machinery product design, looking to join a specialist manufacturer working across multiple industries?Do you enjoy producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings, working on varied projects from concept through to manufacture, and collaborating within a proactive engineering team?The company are a well-established manufacturer operating across sectors including food processing, poultry, agriculture and specialist stainless steel applications such as swimming pools and moving floor systems. Known for their versatility and technical capability, they design and manufacture bespoke equipment including slurry handling systems.This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a wide variety of projects, with exposure to both concept design and modification work, within a supportive and experienced team environment.The Role:Produce detailed working and assembly drawings using 2D and 3D CADDesign and modify products using stainless steel and sheet metal materialsWork primarily with SolidWorks and AutoCADEnsure all designs meet technical specifications and project requirementsPrepare parts lists, contract documentation and supporting technical documentsThe Person:Experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing environmentConfident in ..... full job details .....
