Mechanical Design Engineer Eye, Suffolk£40,000 to £45,000 + Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holiday Mechanical Design Engineer required for a company that works in several different market sectors including; food, poultry, stainless steel swimming pools and moving pool floors and agriculture as well as the design and manufacture of slurry handling equipment.The Mechanical Design Engineer role would be suited to mechanical design engineers from sheet metal, stainless steel and / or agricultural product design backgrounds. You will have strong 2D and 3D design package experience ideally on AutoCAD LT and on SolidWorks.The Mechanical Design Engineer role will principally involve producing working detail and assembly drawings. You will undertake both concept and re modification design work using stainless steel materials. You will ensure drawings are in line with technical specifications provided. The company offer comprehensive internal training and you will work within a successful team who take a proactive lead in managing the preparation of drawings, parts lists, contract documentation and other documents for a range of products.The Mechanical Design Engineer Role: Mechanical design role using steel materials.
