Mechanical Design Engineer Autodesk Inventor Steel Fabrication Design for ManufactureSalary: Competitive Salary Location: Bolton Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience designing fabricated steel products and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor?We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering specialist bespoke products for demanding industrial and infrastructure applications.This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging projects from concept through to manufacture, taking ownership of 3D modelling, detailed engineering drawings and design-for-manufacture solutions.The Role:As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative and manufacturable engineering solutions using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Working closely with manufacturing, project, production and analysis teams, you will ensure designs are practical, compliant and delivered on time.Key Responsibilities: Create 3D CAD models using Autodesk InventorProduce General Arrangement, fabrication and assembly drawingsGenerate Bills of Materials and manufacturing documentationApply Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles throughout projectsDesign fabricated steel structures, components and assembliesEnsure designs comply with BS8888 and company standardsConduct Designer Risk Assessments and support CDM complianceCollaborate with production, engineering and customer teamsSupport product development and ..... full job details .....
