Position Available: Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: Hertfordshire (Hybrid)Salary: £48,000 - £60,000 (DoE) + BonusExperience needed: Experience of mechanical design engineering within a very complex, high-technology engineering environment such as aerospace, defence, automotive, and similar. Demonstrable experience with CATIA V5 is very beneficial.About the roleWe currently have several vacancies available as we are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to work in all areas of the product life cycle concept to in-service support. You will be leading the development of mechanical solutions on a wide variety of complex systems whilst collaborating with wider multi-disciplinary teams. What we need from you:Experience of working in mechanical design engineering within a complex environment across the full product life cycleRelevant 3D CAD/CAE experience, ideally in CATIA V5The ability to lead mechanical design work packages and work within a multi-disciplinary teamAwareness of proving and qualification activities to ensure compliance against requirementsExperience of supplier engagement and development across internal and external multi-disciplinary teamsAn understanding of structural/thermal/dynamic analysis would be advantageous If you would like to know more details about the position or want to register your interest, hit apply below.
