Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Worcester, Worcestershire Salary: Competitive Competitive salary (dependent on experience)36.75 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am - 12:45pm Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design, development, and improvement of advanced engineering systems.You will be responsible for delivering practical, cost-effective design solutions while supporting projects across design, manufacture, and customer delivery. Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical components and assembliesProduce and maintain engineering drawings and documentationCreate and manage BOMs within internal systemsImprove existing products for performance and manufacturabilityInvestigate and resolve product faultsDevelop customer-specific engineering solutionsSupport sales with technical input and proposalsAssist with build, installation, and commissioning activitiesWork closely with engineering, production, and service teams Key Requirements HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical EngineeringIdeally 5+ years'' experienceStrong SolidWorks CAD skillsExperience with FEA, CFD, and PLM systemsKnowledge of ANSYS, MATLAB, Excel or similar toolsStrong understanding of mechanical engineering principlesGood problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills Additional Info Must have right to work in the UKDBS check required pply today through Hawk 3 Talent Solutions to find out more.
