Mechanical Design Engineer Role: Identifying critical problems, attending design reviews and project reviews as required. Work in a simultaneous engineering environment to support product development, ensuring design for service and achieving quality by design. Liaising closely with suppliers and customers to achieve high-quality, cost-effective products. Keeping up to date in relevant technical areas, developing skills and capabilities, and giving support to others as required. Initiating ideas and performing needs analysis. Communicating technical information to customers, team members, suppliers and other business units. Design detailing, bill of materials compilation and drawing release.
