The site has recently undergone significant upgrades, including a modern, state-of-the-art office environment.Due to continued growth and internal progression, an opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the technical team.The RoleThis role sits within a collaborative design office and focuses on translating customer and sales requirements into detailed 3D designs and manufacturing drawings.Working closely with production, sales, and engineering teams, you will contribute to the delivery of bespoke crane and hoist solutions manufactured on-site.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret sales specifications and customer requirementsProduce 3D CAD models and General Arrangement drawingsCreate detailed manufacturing drawings for cranes, hoists, and related componentsSelect appropriate components and materials for manufactureProvide technical support to production and shop floor teamsCollaborate across departments to ensure smooth project deliveryOccasionally support site visits where requiredWhat''s On ..... full job details .....
