This role offers the opportunity to work closely with both engineering and production teams, influencing products at every stage of their development.   The Mechanical Design Engineer will: Produce detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks. Create assembly models and fully toleranced manufacturing drawings. Design components suitable for CNC machining and production. Work closely with manufacturing and assembly teams to optimise designs. Support product development activities from concept through to production. Maintain engineering documentation, CAD records and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Support prototype development using technologies such as 3D scanning and 3D printing.   The Mechanical Design Engineer will have: At least 3 years'' experience in a Mechanical Design Engineering role.
