LOCATION: Hull, East Yorkshire SALARY: Competitive A specialist engineering manufacturer is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design, development and continuous improvement of its products. You ll contribute to new product development, create and maintain engineering documentation, and work with teams across the business to deliver reliable, manufacturable designs. WHAT YOU LL BE DOING Support new product development projects, ensuring designs meet customer requirements, relevant standards, cost targets and deadlines. Produce 3D models, assembly drawings and detailed manufacturing drawings using approved CAD software. Carry out Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to identify and reduce potential design risks. Ensure designs meet company standards, relevant regulations and engineering best practice.
