This is a hands-on mechanical design role where your work doesn t disappear into a system. You ll design it, see it made, test it, improve it and move on to the next problem. Decisions are made quickly. Engineers see the consequences of their designs, good and bad. The work is varied. Bespoke projects alongside core products. Applications that end up in Aerospace, Automotive and More. You re trusted to engineer solutions, not just follow instructions. The reality of the role Mechanical design from concept through to manufacture SolidWorks design of components, assemblies and pneumatic systems Working directly with electronics and production to make designs buildable Applying FEA, FMEA and analysis where it genuinely adds value Owning projects end-to-end once you re up to speed This suits someone who likes practical engineering and taking responsibility, not over-engineered processes or endless rework loops.
