Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: LondonSalary: 50,000 - 70,000 per annumEmployer: Mechanical and Building Services ContractorSector: Residential and Student AccommodationThe RoleWe are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established building services contractor delivering high-quality residential and student accommodation projects across London.This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer who wants to work on technically challenging projects from design development through to construction and completion. You will work closely with the project delivery team, consultants, subcontractors and clients to ensure mechanical designs are practical, coordinated and suitable for installation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver mechanical building services designs for residential and student accommodation projects.Design HVAC, heating, ventilation, cooling and domestic hot water systems.Produce mechanical calculations, specifications, drawings and technical documentation.Develop coordinated designs suitable for construction and installation.Work closely with project managers, site teams, consultants and subcontractors.Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical, public health, architectural and structural disciplines.Assist with design reviews, technical queries and design changes throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure designs meet relevant UK Building Regulations, standards and project requirements.Prepare and review technical ..... full job details .....
