Role Summary:
Lead design and manufacturing initiatives for Control & Display System solutions, working closely with sales and project teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously within a team environment

• Review and design to customer specifications

• Estimate project budgets and scopes, identify risks

• Design systems/components meeting military standards

• Understand basic electrical circuits for cockpit lighting and Night Vision Systems

• Develop products through full lifecycle (design to manufacture)

• Create 3D/2D CAD models and detailed drawings (BS8888 compliant)

• Apply project management skills to plan and track progress

• Produce technical reports and documentation as required

• Continuously develop professional skills and knowledge

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum BEng (Hons) 2:1 or above in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 5 years'' relevant experience

• Proficient in CAD solid modelling (Inventor Pro, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and GD&T

• Experience with ANSYS Finite Element Analysis software

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills

• Eligible for Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check
