This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the design and development of innovative products, taking ideas from concept through to production. You''ll be involved in everything from bespoke customer projects to new product development, ensuring solutions are both technically sound and commercially viable.
What You''ll Be Doing

• Designing and developing new products, from concept through to pre-production.
• Supporting custom projects, creating tailored solutions to meet client requirements.
• Producing 3D CAD models and engineering drawings in SolidWorks.
• Prototyping, testing, and validating new designs.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and quality.
• Driving continuous improvement across existing product ranges.

What We''re Looking For

• Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, ideally taking projects from initial design to delivery.
• Strong SolidWorks skills.
• Excellent problem-solving ability with high attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• A practical, hands-on approach with a natural curiosity to learn.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in new product development.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as plastic moulding, CNC machining, casting, and sheet metal forming.
• Exposure to system design involving electrical or control interfaces.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks PDM or similar data management tools.
