Mechanical Design Engineer

TXM are partnering with a global industry leader that is expanding and looking to grow its talented team. Renowned for driving innovation and setting the benchmark in their field, our client is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge designs to meet the demands of an ever-evolving industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Design and develop components, products, and systems using 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
• Support new product development while maintaining and improving existing product ranges.
• Conduct technical investigations, create detailed drawings and BOMs, and carry out prototype testing.
• Ensure designs meet safety, reliability, and environmental standards.
• Work closely with customers, presenting solutions and contributing to technical workshops.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, customer visits, and industry events in the UK and abroad.

What is our client looking for:

• A Degree (or similar) in mechanical engineering
• Strong 3D CAD Skills
• Experience with product development
• Knowledge of FMEA/FMECA and risk engineering practices.
