      <description>Location: Norwich | Salary: &amp;pound;48000 - &amp;pound;53000/annum | Type: Permanent | Our client is looking for an experienced  Mechanical Design Engineer  to join their innovative engineering team, designing and developing bespoke automated machinery used by customers worldwide.  This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, taking ownership of projects and seeing designs progress from concept through to manufacture.  This role is Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 5:30pm.  The Role You''ll be responsible for the design, development and continuous improvement of mechanical systems and components, working closely with manufacturing, suppliers and customers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.  Key responsibilities include:   Designing and developing mechanical assemblies and components using 2D/3D CAD.  Producing accurate engineering drawings and documentation.  Supporting new product development from concept through to production.  Troubleshooting design and machine issues, identifying root causes and implementing improvements.
