The Role

We are seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer with a minimum of three years of UK building services design experience. In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of cutting-edge mechanical building services solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop mechanical building services designs that meet current legislation and engineering standards.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Assist with design drawings, calculations, schematics, and project documentation.
- Liaise with BIM coordinators, clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality management policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technical consultants and suppliers.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications and Experience

- Degree in engineering (or equivalent industry experience).
- Proven track record in building services design engineering within a design office and construction environment.
- Working towards or holding a Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) accredited qualification such as BEng (Hons) or BSc.
- Experience in modification and production of mechanical documentation.

Skills and Competencies

- Proficient in engineering design software, particularly Revit.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-player mindset.
- Highly organized with good time management skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.
