Position: Mechanical Design EngineerSalary: 28,000 - 42,000, depending on experienceLocation: Derby Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of material handling systems for the food industry, seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their engineering team based in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to become involved in the design and development of bespoke handling systems and special-purpose machinery. The successful candidate will ideally have experience designing mechanical equipment incorporating moving parts, mechanisms and assemblies, although applications will also be considered from graduate and junior engineers looking to develop their career within machinery design. Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview Designing bespoke conveyor systems and associated special-purpose machinery with the use of Autodesk InventorDeveloping mechanical designs incorporating moving parts, mechanisms, fabricated components and mechanical assemblies.Producing 3D CAD models, assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings, primarily using Autodesk Inventor.Creating product layouts and General Arrangement drawings based on customer specifications and project requirements.Developing new concepts and practical engineering solutions for bespoke customer applications.Supporting projects throughout the design lifecycle, from initial concept and development through to manufacture and assembly.Producing ..... full job details .....
