      <description>Location: St Albans | Salary: &amp;pound;40000 - &amp;pound;50000/annum | Type: Permanent | My client, a bespoke MEP and Sustainability Consultancy based in St Albans, is searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their friendly team.       This is a hybrid role, offering varied projects spanning residential, educational and industrial builds.  You will also have the chance to complete detailed designs for churches and historic developments.   Thiis opportunity is available with a market leading Consultancy who specialise in sustainable builds and MEP design.    As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be expected to complete detailed HVAC designs using AutoCAD and Revit for healthcare, residential, education and commercial development projects for both public and private sector clients.     You will also be expected to;   -Complete 2D and 3D models, perform heat load calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection using relevant software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, HAP, IES, Open Buildings or Elite).  - Prepare and review mechanical drawings, schematics, simulations and technical specifications in accordance with building codes, sustainability goals, and project requirements.  -Design to BIM level 2 in accordance with British Standards PAS 1192-5.    -Collab...</description>
