Their multiple revenue streams with major players in the market saw them reach £30M turnover and almost 200 UK staff.They are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer with immediate effect.The RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you''ll take ownership of bespoke design projects from initial enquiry through to final design approval, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, to specification and ready for manufacture. Key responsibilities include: Leading concept generation, product development and detailed mechanical design using Autodesk Inventor.Producing 3D models, engineering drawings, GAs, fabrication drawings and Bills of Materials.Supporting design reviews, feasibility studies and technical decision-making.Working closely with Manufacturing, Operations and Procurement to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.Acting as the technical lead on assigned projects and mentoring junior engineers.Supporting continuous improvement, RandD activities and customer, supplier and site meetings where required.
