Morgan Hunt currently requires a Mechanical Craftsperson for NHS based in Suffolk Pay Rate: £18ph to 20ph Ltd Hours: 37.5 hrs 8am to 4pm - Mon to Fri - Plus out of hours on call dutiesLocation: Suffolk Duration 12 months on going contract.Main purpose of the jobKey Tasks and Responsibilities:To perform work including activities which are complex and/or non-routineTo be responsible for maintenance repairs, calibration and fault finding on a wide range of mechanical engineering plant and equipment such as but not limited to Low Pressure Hot Water Systems, Steam Raising Plant and associated equipment, Cold Water Systems, Plumbing Systems, Steam Sterilizers, Medical Gas Pipe Systems and Washer Disinfectors.To undertake new installations and improvements across the Trust as directed by management ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and proceduresUndertake fault finding on complex Medical Gas Systems, Low Pressure Water Systems, HVAC, Decontamination Equipment, Steam Generating Plant, critical systems and equipment. Using detailed examination to gain a solution.Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections and commissioning tests in accordance with Trust procedures.Undertake on-call duties as part of the on-call team to ensure that emergency repairs occurring out of normal hours are attended to, including basic requirements of other trades.Education and QualificationsRecognised Trade Apprenticeship in mechanical disciplineCity and Guilds Level 3 in ..... full job details .....
