Role: Mechanical Craftsperson / EngineerLocation: BirminghamDuration: 3 Months initiallyHours: Mon - Fri (Apply online only) with flexibility to suit site requirements. (Roles are either 8am-4pm or 11am-7pm). OverviewResponsible for the delivery of mechanical engineering maintenance service in line with contractual obligations, industry best practice and relevant standards and guidance (HTM). The role is to ensure planned preventive maintenance, testing, breakdown/reactive maintenance activities on the estate are completed and records maintained. DutiesAssist in the operational delivery for site activityTo undertake any reasonable duties to maintain all servicesManage individually assigned work effectively to ensure site performance via use of CAFM systems and other digital based management tools is accurate when reviewed by managementAchieve and maintain AP/CP appointments in disciplines as requested by estates management team to support the contract where required and appropriateInterpret and work from all instructions, drawings and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervision.Set up New Work appropriate to his/her own trade using relevant tools, equipment and machinery, without supervision, as appropriate to his/her grade.To carry out unsupervised maintenance and repairs and report any defects or unusual circumstances to the Mechanical Team Leader.Ensure all PPM work is carried out effectively in compliance with maintenance instructions.To record ..... full job details .....
