Mechanical Contracts ManagerDevon Bridgwater - Plymouth patch£65,000 - £75,000 + Package A well-established and growing MandE contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join its South West team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business with a strong pipeline of work across the Defence, Education and Healthcare sectors. Projects typically range from £2m+ in value, and you will be responsible for either leading a major project or overseeing a number of smaller schemes concurrently. The Role You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical projects from contract award through to completion and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include: Managing projects from contract award through to commissioning and handover. Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners. Procurement of materials, plant and subcontract packages. Programme management and progress monitoring. Building and maintaining strong client relationships. Managing commercial and operational performance throughout the project lifecycle. Ensuring compliance with health and safety, quality and contractual requirements. Working closely with project teams to drive successful project outcomes. Delivering projects under JCT and Design and Build contracts.
