Overview

Mechanical Contract Manager - I currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Mechanical Contract Manager to join a small expert team in Bedford, specialising in delivering refurbishment projects ranging from £10k-£500k in value across both mechanical and electrical.Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Contract Manager you will be responsible for managing both directly employed engineers alongside specialist subcontractors across a variety of projects within the commercial sector, mainly including public schools, private schools, NHS properties and care homes.Requirements and Qualifications

Background in heating and plumbing.Gas/AC/ventilation qualifications are advantageous but not essential.Must have an SMSTS qualification.Formal plumbing qualification is required.Projects are located within 50 miles of Bedford, covering Beds, Herts and Bucks.Working arrangements and benefits

Location: mainly office-based 4 days per week with 1 day out visiting projects. Salary: starting basic salary £50-60k plus a company car allowance of £4500 per year or a company van. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 07:30am - 5pm.Company and equal opportunity
