Mechanical Contract Controller

Temp to PermSalary: (phone number removed) per annumContractor Controller (Mechanical)Coventry University Group is looking for an experienced Contractor Controller (Mechanical) to join our Estates Team.In this role, you will supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance contractors across the Group''s estate, ensuring planned and reactive works are delivered safely, compliantly and to a high standard.The RoleYou will be responsible for: Coordinating planned, reactive and statutory mechanical maintenance. Managing contractor performance, KPIs and service levels. Reviewing RAMS and permits to work and auditing workmanship. Supporting mechanical compliance, inspections and testing. Providing technical guidance on mechanical building services, including HVAC, pumps, plant rooms and water systems. Using the Planon CAFM system to coordinate works and maintain accurate records. Liaising with contractors, technical teams and wider University stakeholders. Supporting continuous improvement across the Estates service.About YouWe are looking for an experienced Techanical Supervisor, Senior Mechanical Technician, Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator, Building Services Engineer or similar professional.You will ideally have: A relevant mechanical/building services qualification such as NVQ, City and Guilds or HNC, or equivalent experience.
