Mechanical Engineer / Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) Salary: 43,000 per annum Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts 2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer or Multi-Skilled Engineer with a Mechanical Bias to join an established engineering team supporting a critical and technically complex environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team, including a long-serving Electrical Engineer with extensive site knowledge, providing planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of building services systems. The Role As a Mechanical Bias Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs across a range of mechanical and building services equipment. Working as part of a close-knit engineering team, you will help ensure that all systems and facilities remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities. Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on mechanical and associated building services systems. Maintain and repair pumps, motors, valves, AHUs, FCUs, HVAC systems, pipework, and associated plant. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests. Update maintenance records and CAFM systems accurately. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and site stakeholders.
